Policy dialogue and coordination with Kenyan Government and Donors

The UNDP Resident Representative plays the vital role in policy dialogue and engaging in strategic partnership building with development partners at the country level through Government of Kenya/donor meetings of the Donor Coordination Group and Kenya Coordination Group.

This activity promotes upstream policy dialogue and advocacy for poverty eradication and sustainable human development. It is engaged with networking and partnership building for learning and knowledge management by promoting and coordinating policy dialogue with the government, partners and key stakeholders on links between macro-economics, poverty and reforms.

It is through the support  of various donors that UNDP Kenya is able to implement its programmes.  These donors include governments, international institutions private organizations  and individuals.
