Until recently Ms. Elizabeth Lwanga was the Deputy Director, Regional Bureau for Africa-UNDP where she ensured gender mainstreaming was incorporated by UNDP as an essential ingredient to the development process.The new RR is no stranger to heading a country office. She previously held the post of Resident Representative in Swaziland where she spear-headed many initiatives to fight the HIV/AIDS' scourge. Ms Elizabeth Lwang, a Ugandan national, is very passionate about Media development in Kenya having worked for Kenya Broadcasting Co-oporation which was then called Voice of Kenya.
