Welcome to Crisis Prevention and Recovery pageThe crisis prevention and recovery component aims at further reducing the spread of HIV/AIDS and improving the quality of life of those affected and infected, in line with Millennium Development goals while also strengthening the capacity to design, implement, monitor and evaluate HIV/AIDS programmes. Furthermore, the component aims to reduce the incidence of natural and man-made disasters and insecurity on the lives of the poor by enhancing multi-sectoral responses to HIV/AIDS, natural disasters mitigation capacity, and conflict resolution and peace building.
