UNDP Kenya is seeking to recruit a National Individual Consultant to;

  1. To provide legal, institutional and policy expertise to the Taskforce in unbundling and analyzing the questions arising from international and national law relating to the rights of indigenous peoples, and local communities involved in governance of forests administered as protected areas.
  2. To provide a detailed and incisive analysis of the oral and written submissions made to the Taskforce and identified critical thematic questions that the Taskforce should address in undertaking its mandate. 
  3. To provide research and analytical outputs responding to the evolving knowledge requirements of the Taskforce in undertaking its mandate.
